Does it actually work in ultrawide?
UltraWideCheck exists to answer that one question, fast — for anyone running a 21:9 or 32:9 monitor.
Most game pages will tell you a title "supports ultrawide." That's rarely the whole story. A game can render gameplay correctly at 32:9 while still pillarboxing every cutscene to 16:9, pinning the HUD to the far edges of a 5120×1440 panel, or stretching menu text across the full width instead of reflowing it.
UltraWideCheck breaks that single yes/no claim into the specific things that actually affect how a game feels on a wide display: resolution support, HUD behavior, FOV scaling, cutscene handling, menus, black bars, and whether a mod or fix closes the gap. Every page also records the exact patch it was last checked against, because compatibility changes with updates.
Who this is for
Primarily Samsung Odyssey G9 / Neo G9 and other 5120×1440 owners, plus the broader 3440×1440 and 21:9 community. If you've ever searched "[game] ultrawide fix" before buying or launching something, this is built for you.
How the data works
As of the last full pass, all 116 games in the database have been independently checked against real public sources — PCGamingWiki, Nexus Mods, official developer/publisher support articles and patch notes, Flawless Widescreen's plugin repository, and player/forum reports — not invented or guessed. Every game page links its actual sources and shows the exact patch it was last checked against. Compatibility can still drift as games get patched, so "verified" means checked as of that date, not guaranteed forever — if something on a page looks wrong or out of date, use the report form below to flag it.
