Overview

Minecraft Java renders a genuine Hor+ field of view across any window/monitor size, including full 5120x1440 32:9, since the renderer draws the world to whatever resolution and aspect ratio the window is set to. The hotbar, health/hunger bars, and crosshair stay centered rather than stretching, and menu panorama backgrounds fill the full width cleanly. The only real cost is performance — render distance and shaders need tuning on 32:9. No mod or config edit needed for basic ultrawide play.
