Skyrim Special Edition — UI mod ultrawide compatibility
Checked independently of Skyrim Special Edition's own base compatibility — a mod can need its own fix even on a game that otherwise supports ultrawide natively. Real mods
Base SkyUI 5.2's inventory, magic, and map menus stretch across 32:9 without a patch. Upgrading to the SkyUI 6 file (on the same mod page) adds automatic 21:9/32:9/4:3 aspect-ratio support with no separate patch needed; if you're still on 5.2, the Complete Widescreen Fix below remains the standard fix and is actively maintained (v3.9.0, updated for SkyUI 6.7's new icons).
One of the most popular modern HUD replacers (500K+ unique downloads) — flat, modern styling based on Dear Diary Dark Mode. Squishes at 21:9 and stretches at 32:9 out of the box; the dedicated Super Ultrawide Fix corrects it and is also the base layer several newer overhauls, including Edge UI below, build on.
A newer, actively popular AAA-style interface replacer (270K+ downloads, inspired by God of War/Elden Ring-style UI) built on top of Untarnished UI. Install the Untarnished UI - Super Ultrawide Fix listed above first — Edge UI inherits that base squish/stretch issue since it sits on top of Untarnished UI. On top of that, the author (via uploader MegaBigD) also made a dedicated Edge UI 32-9 Patch specifically for 5120x1440-class displays; it is self-described as a work in progress ('there are errors, but most menus work including c.o.c.k.s'), last updated Feb 2025. There is also a separate 21:9-only C.O.C.K.S crafting-menu fix and an Edge UI Stretched Messages and Dialogue Fix if you are not on 32:9.
Radial favorites/quickslot menu (Quick Action Wheel) renders correctly at any aspect ratio out of the box — no ultrawide-specific fix needed.
