Overview
Control used to be a rough ultrawide game, but Remedy's March 2025 Update 1.30 added genuine native support for any aspect ratio, so 32:9 gameplay now scales correctly with Hor+ and fixed UI positioning. Remedy chose to keep pre-rendered cutscenes, menus, and loading screens pillarboxed to 16:9 rather than extend them. If you're on an older un-updated build, a community patch exists to unlock aspect ratio and fix the HUD manually.
