Overview

On a 32:9 super-ultrawide display Valorant is not usable in its intended form: 5120x1440 is not on Riot's supported list, so the game applies permanent black bars rather than extending the play area. This is a deliberate competitive-fairness decision, not a bug. Because Vanguard is a kernel-level anti-cheat, using a third-party aspect-ratio injector to force 32:9 carries real ban risk and should be avoided. 21:9 users fare much better since 3440x1440-class resolutions are officially supported.

Verified via Riot Support supported-resolutions article — 21:9 is officially listed; 32:9 is not, and black bars are applied intentionally.
